Hi. My name is Veronica LePinske, and I am the founder of A Cook’s Canvas.
I’m a private chef, recipe developer, and food photographer with over 13 years of experience in professional cooking for tableware/cookware clients and Chicago restaurants. I started A Cook’s Canvas while living in southern Germany, where I traveled and immersed myself in European cuisines.
My past clients have included professional chefs (portrait / in-action), restaurants, wine, cheese, and spirit companies, cookware and kitchen products manufacturers, and large events such as Michelin Star, the Cystic Fibrosis foundation’s annual Grand Chefs Gala, Bon Appetit magazine’s Chicago Gourmet, and Grand Cru events, The Chicago AIDS Foundation World of Chocolate Gala, the annual Food Network in Concert at Ravinia, and I’ve covered the grand opening and special events at Mario Batali’s Eataly Chicago, as well as covering chefs and menus of countless fine dining restaurants worldwide.
